we are getting closer and closer to our 100th day of school. February the 19th will be the 100th day of school!!!!!
Next week we will be having a special Show & Tell week of collections of 100 items. Students can bring in different collections of 100 things to show the class that 100 of something (rice for example) can seem really small, and 100 of something else (cotton for example) appears a lot more.
Next Friday the 19th will be our 100th day of school insha'Allah. Students may come in dressed as 100 year old men and women.
Today we started off the day with some fun centres, the students were working so nicely together and improving their social skills mashallah. I see a huge difference between now and the beginning of the school year. There is a great amount of empathy, kindness, and generosity going on in SK2 masha'Allah.
Period three was with teacher Salam and the students worked on a letter -Daad craft. They had to cut the pieces of the puzzle and then put them together in the correct order.
During gym class we played a competitive game of soccer baseball. It's fascinating to me how the children go from not know the sport, to slowly learning it, and doing really well in it! Our MVP for today was Zineb who did an awesome job pitching the ball. Well done Zineb!!!!
In the afternoon we took the number 13, and went to the computer lab.
