December's Trait: Responsibility

This month's trait according to our character education program is Responsibility.
Our student will be exposed to different opportunities of practicing responsibilities at school insha'Allah. We encourage to you to start a conversation on how your children can be responsible at home. We are going to learn about how to perform prayer next term inshaAllah. We will focus on performing wudu correctly this term.

We watched the following YouTube about responsibility:

December's Du`aa'

Allāhumma-ghfirlī mā qaddamtu wa mā akhkhartu, wa mā asrartu wa mā a`lantu, antal-Muqaddimu, wa antal-Mu’akhiru, lā ilāha illā ant

“O Allah, forgive me what I have done, before and after, and what I have hidden, and what I have done openly, You are the One Who sends forth and the One Who delays, there is none worthy of worship except You”

Excerpt from a hadeeth in Jami Tirmidhi
(A du`aa’ recited by Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him after tashahud and tasleem of a prayer)

Show & Tell:
SK2 are doing a wonderful job in their show & tell. Insha’Allah we will continue this activity until the end of the year. The Show & Tell is a part of our week that we all look forward to. Children got to share anything they like to talk about. The main thing I am looking for is to encourage the children to talk in Arabic. They can share their favorite shirts, books, and toys with the class through the means of an oral presentation. Please remember to post your child’s Show & Tell on the fridge to remind him/her of the day they suppose to do their turn.

Below are some questions that the students usually use for show and tell:

 ؟ من اين اشتريتها

 هل هى هدية ؟

؟ لماذا احضرتها معك

 اين تضعها في المنزل؟

؟ هل هي حية ام غير حية
