Assalamu alaikum!
We were missing soooo many of our friends today!!!! We hope to see them back all tomorrow insha'Allah.
We started off the day with some activity centres, followed by Arabic class.
In the gym we had the chance to explore all the different gym equipment: basketballs, volleyballs, stilts, gym mats, hula hoops, soccer balls, and skipping ropes. Masha'Allah we have some basketball super stars among us!
Since it was indoor recess, we decided to take this time to watch a nice education show "word world", I highly recommend this show for beginning readers, it is available on Netflix.
In the afternoon we had a math lesson on the following 3D shapes: cube, and rectangular prism. We also talked about the attributes of a pattern, and the name of the pattern.
We ended the day with computer lab where we visited Starfall.com and tvokids.com.
