Assalamu alaikum everyone,
we started off our day today with some challenging puzzles that encourage teamwork and cooperation.
It was great to have our friend Mesk back with us today alhamdulillah. We're still missing our dear friend Norah, an we hope to see her again soon.
During period one we practiced our oral communication skills talking about our weekends, and listening to our friends talk about their weekends. It seems like a lot of people went tobogganing mashallah!
The students then visited the library with teacher Ghada, and teacher Charmaine. During period three we read chapter 19 from Charlotte's Web, and worked on our reading and stretching out words for the purposes of writing them.
The students are still working on surat Al-Qari'a in Quraan class, their homework is to work on ayas 6-7 from this sura.
In the afternoon we worked in our phonics books on the letter Ff.
During French class monsieur Said practiced saying the date in French, and did a picture walk of a book that teaches the children different vocabulary related to transportation.
