Assalamu alaikum,
this morning we started our morning with some reading, the students were either searching for the letters that we have learned or trying to sound out words.
They started out reading quraan with teacher Ibtissam, they are still working on surat attakathur, please help your child memorize ayas 1-4 at home.
Our second period was calendar and reading, we practiced reading and focused on the words:
I, can.
Here is what we were reading:
I Can
I can walk.
Alhamdulillah!
I can speak.
Alhamdulillah!
I can breathe.
Alhamdulillah.
I can see.
Alhamdulillah.
In Arabic the students worked on learning words that begin with the letter -baa.
The gym's ceiling was being cleaned during our gym period and so we went to the public park to enjoy some time there.
In the afternoon the students listened to the story of the Paper Bag Prince, by Robert Munsch, and they enjoyed some free play.
