Assalamu alaikum! What beautiful weather we had today alhamdulillah. We started off the day with Quraan class with teacher Ibtissam. The students finished their lap book and will be bringing them home tomorrow insha'Allah: Here is the purpose of the lap book: To discuss the importance of the Night of Al-Qadr which is the most virtuous night of the year. It is the night in which the Qur’an was sent down. The Night of Al-Qadr is the last ten nights of Ramadan and ends with the festival of Eid al-Fitr.
During period two the students complete the oval shape in their shapes workbook.
The class had Arabic with teacher Salam and the class worked hard in their work books identifying the beginning sounds.
During period four we had gym, we did our regular warm ups followed by some soccer drills. Insha'Allah we will be starting our soccer sports unit next week, and it will last for two weeks.
In the afternoon students took turns going to the library for the reading program, today it was BLUE, ORANGE, and RED groups that went.
While some groups were busy working we worked on cutting and pasting skills by creating our very own solar system.
Have a great afternoon everyone!
