Show & Tell:
SK2 are doing a wonderful job in their show & tell. Insha’Allah we will continue this activity until the end of the year. The Show & Tell is a part of our week that we all look forward to. Children got to share anything they like to talk about. The main thing I am looking for is to encourage the children to talk in Arabic. They can share their favorite shirts, books, and toys with the class through the means of an oral presentation. Please remember to post your child’s Show & Tell on the fridge to remind him/her of the day they suppose to do their turn.
Below are some questions that the students usually use for show and tell:

؟ من اين اشتريتها
هل هى هدية ؟
؟ لماذا احضرتها معك
اين تضعها في المنزل؟
؟ هل هي حية ام غير حية
؟هل هى ناعمة ام خشنة الملمس

Math:
We took number Six and Seven. In addition, we finished working in the patterning unit. We integrated the math unit about patterning with Art. The kids used their artistic skills and made different patterns using different sizes and shapes of blocks, in addition, they made their very special bracelets. Way to go SK2!
Science:
This activity is about he primary colours and what happens from mixing these specific colours. We did an exciting experiment in class about the primary colours using food coloring. The students had the chance to observe and practice mixing the different colours in their groups. We also learned about the secondary colours that result from mixing these primary colours. Do not be surprised if you see them doing this activity at home :)
Science & Art:
We integrated the lesson about the primary colours in science with Art. Sk1 students drew beautiful pictures using the primary colours.
Since our school's trait for this month is cleanliness. We are talking about how to keep ourselves clean, in addition, we are learning how to keep our desks clean, neat placement of jackets and shoes, clean mouth (not saying bad words), recycling...etc.)
To help the SK2 students better understand this trail, I read the following stories. Please ask your child about it.
Guided Reading:
I am working on teaching the SK2 students how to read and write simple words/sentences. We will allow the students to model the teacher by reading simple words/sentences inshaAllah. Below are some of the reading we are doing in class.
The title of our booklet is استطيع ان شاء الله
