Silly Socks Day

Assalamu Alaikum!

We had such a nice day today alhamdulillah.  It was so nice to see everyone's silly socks today!!! Some kids chose not to wear silly socks, and that's ok :).

We started off the day with 2 periods of educational centres.  The children were given different materials and they were given the chance to creatively make whatever they wanted.  It was very interesting to see them so hard at work and helping each other out masha'Allah.

During period three the class had Arabic with teacher Salam.  She was working with the class on the lettter -faa, and the children got to colour a really nice big feel (elephant) as an activity with this letter.

In the afternoon we were so busy measuring and recording our measurements mashallah.  Some students were using measuring tape, while others were using non-standard units of measurement to measure everything from the board to each other!

We missed our friends Qods and Sarah today and hope to see them back in class soon.

Have a good evening!
